OUR STATE AND NATIONAL CHAMPIONS

In 2010 Angelica Hodges a 9 year old brown belt attended the Nationals in South Carolina and won 3rd place-bronze medal in kata of her category.

These are the results of our State and National Competitions. On May 2008, 24 students competed at the Texas Regionals and 18 of those competed at the USA Nationals on 18 - 20 July 2008. A group of 24 students participated and won 31 medals. The results were
  • 8 State Champions
  • 13 Silver Medals
  • 10 Bronze Medals.
    A group of 18 students and the Instructor participated at the Nationals and won 20 medals. The results were
  • 7 National Champions
  • 5 Silver Medals
  • 8 Bronze Medals.

    Jaunzel Mullins, 2008 National and State Champion in Kumite

    Texas ChampionJaunzel a 9 year old young man with great talent became a State Champion in Kumite and got a bronze medal in Kata and USA National Champion in Kumite. Jaunzel is showing great potential in becoming a good fighter and kata performer.

    Texas ChampionSierra a 15 year old young lady became a State Champion by doing her very best. An honor roll student that is ready always for any challenge. Now she will compete at the nationals in 3 categories and she is looking forward to win a Gold.

    Texas ChampionJosh a 14 year old young man became 2008 USA National Champion in Kata. Josh got the gold to become State Champion for the dojo and he has been working hard to meet this challenge.





    Shelby Martinez, 2008 National Champion in Kata and Kumite


    Texas ChampionShelby 15 year old young lady worked very hard to win at the nationals considering she had to do battle with her friend. An honor roll student that is always ready for a new challenge. Her goal is to become a National Champion as a black belt.




    Christopher Wilm, 2009 State Champion, 2008 National Champion in Kata and Kumite


    Texas Champion Christopher placed 3rd at the State Championship but did not let that stoped him from obtaining the gold at the Nationals in two categories. His sharp and crisp techniques conviced all the referees.



    Jared Wilson, 2009, 2008 State Champion in Kata and Bronze at the Nationals


    Texas ChampionJared is a 7 year old young man that is fun to watch, he received Gold in kata 2008 and bronze in kumite (fighting). Bronze medal at the USA Nationals. Now he has done it again in 2009, Texas State Champion. He distinguishes himself for having an outstanding form which is unique for his age and is the reason why he became State Champion.

    Texas Champion Bronze Medal in Kata at the USA-NKF 2008 Nationals. This fabulous 9 year old captured the first place in two categories. An outstanding hard working young lady with great love for everything she does. She also distinguished herself as Honor Roll student in her Elementary School this year. Great Job!

    Texas ChampionManuel a 14 year old, trained really hard and it paid off, 2008 State Champion in Kata and Bronze medal at the Nationlas in Kata competition. This quite student has demonstrated that looks are deceiving.



    Ryan Belcher, 2008 State Champion in Kata


    Texas Champion Ryan a 13 year old young man became a State Champion with his quite personality and crisp sharp techniques. Competing in the novice division he demonstrated his high level of concentration and appreciation of the kata.



    Jordan Espino, 2007 State Champion in Kata


    Texas ChampionJordan a 12 year old dynamic young man is the best level. Jordan competes in the intermediate level division. With sharp and crisp movements he won the gold last year. This year the competition for the gold was a tough one and he had to settle for bronze. Now he is ready for the Nationals.


    Ashleigh Rushing, 2007 State Champion in kata and 2008 Bronze in kumite at the Nationals


    Texas Champion 16th year old Ashleigh beat all the odds by winning the bronze medal at the USA National Championship. This young funny and talented lady proved to be a good fighter once again.
