Karate After School Program. Enroll now for 2009-2010

Our facility is not a "Daycare" and we do not pretend to provide daycare services. During the school year, The Shotokan Karate School provides transportation to students from some local KISD elementary, middle and high schools to our martial arts facility per the request of the parents. Our Karate Afterschool program is an extension of our evening Karate program. Parents choose to have their children train early at our facility, this way they have time at home exclusively for homework and family time. The same curriculum given during evening class is the same curriculum given to the Afterschool pick up program. The students enjoy:

as well as fun physical Karate related activities

one free promotion test

character-building through the A+ curriculum

We provide snack and homework time

a full hour of Karate

tournament competition training

we offer membership with the USA National Karate Federation

opportunity to compete at the Junior Olympics and be part of the USA KARATE TEAM

Students arrive at our facility at 3:00pm and 4:00pm. Parents pick up their children 4:00 0R 5:00 PM

What is A.P.L.U.S (A+)?

Is the A.P.L.U.S.(A+) baby sitting or daycare? NO, it is real martial arts education. A child does not stop learning when the school day ends, so why should his or her education stop? We feel that children need education in discipline, respect, and self-confidence in addition to their academic education. Our After school Karate program provides a martial arts education which teaches discipline, respect, self-control, concentration, goal setting, positive thinking, and, of course, self-defense. It helps the children get healthy, well-balanced physical exercise while improving self-confidence. Thus it is the perfect character-building education to supplement their academic education.


Cost for A+ Karate After School Program.

We offer individual and family plan.
Individual tuition Plan is $75.00 per child a week + $65.00 registration fee.
